A Brief History
A Lord writes...
Lord Bassam of Brighton
"[Fiveways Artists Group], like many other groups in Brighton & Hove do have a local touch, giving expression and finding a local venue to bring people into their art and to let local people see works which, otherwise, they wouldn’t know existed"
Taken from the second book on Fiveways Artists Group, 'Making Waves'.
Open Houses 2002
"If you do one thing only during the festival you must visit the open days of the Fiveways Artists Group"
Hot Tickets, Evening Standard
The 15th Open House exhibition by the Fiveways Artists Group boasts 24 Open Houses featuring the work of 115 artists.
"There is no other group in Brighton which does it so successfully on this scale...one of the most interesting aspects of the country's second largest arts festival"
